Each vetdiet® formula is designed according to very strict criteria and the variety of the ingredients used insures that your pet is getting a complete and balanced diet. Our products are naturally preserved with a blend of tocopherols, citric acid and rosemary extract. Here is an overview of the ingredients that we use
Eggs
Dehydrated egg product (biological value of 100%). Eggs are the best and most complete source of high-quality protein and fat. An egg is such a whole food that it can produce life on its own, so just think of what it can do for your pet.
Lamb
Very high-quality alternative source of protein that may assist in cases of food allergies.
Rice and corn
Readily absorbed energy sources. Optimum digestibility and free of irritating fibres.
Chicken
Chicken and chicken meal are high-quality sources of protein and minerals, with a high rate of digestibility. They help develop and maintain healthy muscles and organs.
Chicken fat
Excellent source of energy and Omega-6 fatty acids. Chicken fat is easily digested and helps promote a shiny coat and healthy skin.
Dehydrated apples
Excellent source of fibre, potassium and antioxidants (flavonoids).
Dehydrated carrots
Source of beta-carotene and fibre, helps enhance digestion and elimination.
Chelated minerals
Minerals combined to protein for optimum assimilation, so that your pet may get maximum benefits.
Probiotics and enzymes
Friendly bacteria occurring naturally in the digestive system of your pet. The presence of these ingredients in all vetdiet® products help maintain a healthy digestive system.
Prebiotics (chicory - FOS) and MOS
Chicory is a dietary source for friendly bacteria, where MOS will help reduce the multiplication of unfriendly bacteria.
Lutein (marigold extract)
Natural source of lutein helping in strengthening the immune system and contributing to good vision.
Dehydrated alfalfa
Source of chlorophyll to help neutralize bad breath.
Yucca schidigera
Helps reduce odour in stools in a natural way.
Bromelain
Natural enzyme derived from pineapple, that helps prevent the build-up of hairballs in the digestive tract of your cat.
Mint
Refreshes breath.
Dehydrated cranberries
In addition to helping maintain a healthy urinary tract and fighting bacteria which cause bad breath, cranberries are a good source of Vitamin C.
Parsley

Dehydrated blueberries

Kelp meal

L-carnitine
Ingredient present in our light formulas. Also known as Vitamin Bt, allows optimum use of fat by the body, therefore contributing to the maintenance of muscle tone or controlled weight loss in your pet.
Lecithin
Excellent to restore a coat in bad condition or to maintain it in a healthy state.
Flaxseed
Principal source of high quality Omega 3 fatty acids. Combines to lecithin and zinc to promote a shiny coat and healthy skin.
Organic acids
Lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid and fumaric acid help maintain a healthy digestive system by promoting the presence of friendly bacteria while reducing the presence of unfriendly bacteria.
Thyme extract
Helps maintain firm stools while enhancing passage of food.
Tomato powder
